About me

Travel means knowledge. My love for foreign languages and translations emerged at a young age, so I decided to study at the École de Traduction et d'Interprétation of the University of Geneva, in Switzerland. While in Geneva during that period, I gained hands-on experience as a tour guide and organizer of visits to the Palais des Nations, the European headquarters of the United Nations.

I further honed my skills by attending a 9-month course at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California (USA) and a 3-month course at Sorbonne University in Paris. I finally added Spanish to my language combinations, with courses at Menendez Pelayo University in Santander (Spain).

My first assignments were in the field of localization, translating and adapting multimedia products (audiovisuals, video games, cartoons, soap operas and documentaries). In 1998 I began my career as a freelance translator.

I love my job: it has always encouraged my openness to the world and cultural curiosity.
